Covergirl Outlast Lipstain Product Review

I was excited when I checked the mail yesterday. I'm a BzzAgent and occasionally receive free products in the mail to try and review. A cute little polka dotted box was sitting in the mailbox. I tore it open and was thrilled to have received the Covergirl Outlast Lipstain I'd requested.

I was just about to put my make-up on so timing was perfect. The color I asked for was Sassy Mauve since it was close to the $14
Clinique Raspberry Rush lipstick that I usually use. I pulled the cap off and noticed it looked and felt like a magic marker. The tip is tapered which make it easy to line the outside of my lips. I used the side to fill in the rest. The first time I used it I put on a light coat but later added more for a darker stain.

This is not a lipstick, it's a lipstain. It felt so light that I didn't feel like there was anything on m
y lips at all. It had a light fruity taste (raspberry vanilla) mixed with a very slight chemical taste. Both went away after licking my lips 4-5 times.
According to the BzzGuide which came with the lipstain, Covergirl Outlast Lipstain is supposed to last for hours. I don't know what their definition of "hours" is but it did last about two hours.

I gave Covergirl Outlast Lipstain the rub, smudge, budge test by drawing a line on a piece of paper and rubbing my finger across it. It didn't smudge or budge making it kiss-proof. This should be good news for men who are tired of having remnants of kisses left on their cheeks.

The lipstain is water based which means it won't dry out your lips. Learning that Covergirl Outlast Lipstain also contains the conditioners glycerin and hyaluronic acid was also a plus for me since I tend to have dry lips.

The color of the packaging matches the color of the lipstain making it easy to choose one of the 10 colors available:

* Everbloom Kiss
* Bit of Blossom
* Berry Smooch
* Teasing Blush
* Sassy Mauve
* Plum Pout
* Coy Coral
* Wild Berry Wink
* Flirty Nude
* Cinnamon Smile

After using Covergirl Outlast Lipstain I noticed there was no shimmer or sparkle like with lipsticks. This was easily remedied by adding a lip gloss or lip moisturizer.

Coverg
irl Outlast Lipstain can be found at all mass retailers including Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, and Walgreens (to name a few). With a suggested retail price of $7.29 this lipstain is definitely budget friendly.

I'm going to enjoy sharing information about Covergirl Outlast Lipstain as well as the $1.00 coupons BzzAgent provided for me to give to others.
